Right from the day, we are born, we are systematically conditioned. We were given a name, religion, ideology, and what is right and wrong. We are confined to a certain way of behavior, conditioned to a social structure. We are not allowed to formulate our thought and understand the world without any preconceived notions. We are robbed of our view, and we are given a predefined view to confirm in the name of choice.
Is it worth it?
Is this social conditioning helped us? Maybe, our accent on the top of the animal kingdom is because of the aggregated and accumulated knowledge of human history that is imparted during our formative years. But the system had become well entrenched and rigid. The system in the name of religion, social order, and education has become a dogma that people are followed blindly. The worse, the people we allow to govern have gamed it to suit their needs.
It is disgusting to know that 90 percent of the information that we consume is of absolutely no use. The Internet is flooded with celebrity gossip and political nonsense. It is becoming a humongous effort to filter through all the unwanted stuff and look at what we need.
We need to start a revolution, at least for ourselves. Not to be a victim and not to succumb to the cacophony of the noise that enters us. We need to find a way to restrict or avoid the information that comes to us without our authorization.
If not a revolution, at least a resolution that we can take to the new year.
